The Universe is Vast with many Beings on multiple levels of Consciousness...
If we even lower the parameters to just our Earth and Humanity it is vast the number of different ways and religions Humanity and Enligtened Teachers has created over it's vast lifetime to explain our inner connections of how it all works and our relation to it.
Some religions ( meaning of the word is to bind back) have been helpful for some as tools for living, understanding and connecting to something greater then themselves..... others have just been a chain of ideas and beliefs some like to wear around their necks- some filled with superstitions and limited or relative truths.
Esoterically, some believe that all Religions at their Core are based on some Universal Truths of True Wisdom, Love and an inherant Unified Oneness.

hi, very good and intriguing question, so many you cant count them. You can find those all over the place we call the universe.
The reason? I guess it is because of layers, what we would call dimension other worlds, underworld, realms and so on
Even though we can not see them with our own human eyes, we could sense them with our acute mind (the inner sight) And we could describe them with in physics, it´s all energy. Maybe in our future we will learn about our Realms in physics class.
In our world we can find 14 such worlds (timelines), our and 13 others, (they spin differently, causing time to fluxiate faster in some and slower in others! That was extra)
